Christmas Markets are a cornerstone of the festive season all over the continent and have recently become established in the UK with Birmingham and Manchester on the forefront of the festive celebrations.
This year we are proud to bring this experience to the heart of London with Tower Bridge undoubtedly providing one of the most spectacular seasonal settings in Europe.
The market will consist of traders from different European countries, offering arts & crafts, festive gifts and a wide selection of food and drink.
The authentic Bavarian Beer House invites you to sample some regional specialities - try smoked meats and sausages. Taste Schnitzel, Flammkuchen, continental lager or French, Italian and other European wine specialities in the wine and dine area. Manger des Crepes and munch Belgian Waffles, indulge yourself on traditional Lebkuchen and “Glühwein - mulled wine”. Treat yourself to festive sweets and enjoy the smell of chestnuts roasting.
The event features classical and contemporary festive entertainment from brass and classical ensembles to acoustic artists.
Whilst the parents can enjoy the food and drink on site, there are classic entertainments for the youngsters, with a wooden horse carousel and plenty of other rides.
No matter if you are visiting London as a tourist, taking a stroll along the promenade or looking for that place for a drink after work, the European Christmas Market at Tower Bridge is the place to get you into the festive mood.
The event is free of charge and open from 10.00 a.m. until 8.00 p.m. every day from Thursday the 29th of November until Saturday the 22nd of December.
