Read more about avoiding scams in classifieds Price: £220 Description: A massive white earthenware ginger jar decorated with a series of black and white Beardsley illustrations, including "Stomach Dance" and "John & Salome" from Oscar Wilde's Salome. Dating: 1979 Shape: A large 10" (25cm) Ginger Jar, with a diameter of 7" (18cm), shape number 491. A smaller ginger jar was also produced. Design: Decorated with a transfer printed art nouveau design based on the work of Aubrey Beardsley (1872 - 1898). The Beardsley Collection was developed by Ros Sommerfelt in 1979. Backstamp: Printed on the base The Beardsley Collection, POOLE, ENGLAND together with the Poole Dolphin. Painter:  Condition: Mint condition.
