Read more about avoiding scams in classifieds Price: £45 Description: A good early Delphis pin dish with an abstract design in the 1960's palette of dark red, black, and light blue. Dating: 1966 - 1967 Shape: A small round 5" (13cm) dish, printed with shape number 49. Design: Delphis began as a studio range in 1963 and, although colour palettes were standardised in the 1970's, each piece is a unique expression by the individual artist. The range was withdrawn in 1979. Backstamp: Printed "POOLE England" on the base together with the Poole dolphin. Backstamp 47 was used between 1966 and 1980. Painter: Signed with two lines by the paintress Margaret Anderson, who worked at Poole from 1966 - 1967 Condition: Very good condition. There is a small white spot where the glaze has missed at 1 o'clock.
