Read more about avoiding scams in classifieds Price: £80 Description: A deeply carved Delphis vase with brown and blue glaze highlights. Has the sought after blue backstamp indicating an early piece. Dating: 1966 - 1967 Shape: A 6" (15cm) vase printed with shape number 83. Design: Delphis began as a studio range in 1963 and, although colour palettes were standardised in the 1970's, each piece is a unique expression by the individual artist. The range was withdrawn in 1979. Backstamp: Printed "POOLE England" on the base together with the Poole dolphin. Backstamp 47 was used between 1966 and 1980. Painter: There is no painter mark. Condition: Very good condition, just some crazing to inner base. Glaze colouring is a little uneven.
